Venus Williams set a sad record for defeats

Legendary American tennis player Venus Williams, a seven-time Grand Slam champion and former world No. 1, has suffered her first 10-match losing streak in WTA competition. This information was reported by Glavkom, citing Opta.

On Tuesday, April 21, Venus Williams lost to Spain’s Caitlin Quevedo, who is ranked 140th in the world, in the first round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid with a score of 2-6, 4-6. Williams is currently ranked 479th in the WTA rankings.
