The Ukrainian community in Portugal organized another rally in support of Ukraine in the heart of Lisbon. The event aimed to draw attention to Russia’s crimes and call for continued aid to Ukraine.
According to a Facebook post by the volunteer group With Portugal, participants in the event raised 61 euros, which were donated to the “Come Back Alive” charity fund. Since the weekly rallies began, Ukrainians have already donated 841,967 UAH to the fund.
The next rally is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, at 6:00 p.m. at Praça Dom Pedro IV in Lisbon.
In addition, the Ukrainian community is calling on people to join in the celebration of Ukraine’s Independence Day, which will take place on August 23 in the Portuguese capital.
