Aliyar Agayev, a 38-year-old Azerbaijani, has been appointed as the head referee for the Nations League second-round match between Georgia and Ukraine. This was reported on the official UEFA website.
Agayev’s assistants—his compatriots Zeynal Zeynalov and Akif Amirali—will also be part of the officiating team. Rauf Kabarov has been named the fourth official, and Alejandro Di Paolo of Italy will serve as the VAR referee.
