As of August 3, Russia had already exceeded its annual production target for "Zircon" and "Onyx" missiles, as set by the state defense order.
During the first seven months of this year, the following were manufactured:
- 33 "Zircon" missiles;
- 60 “Onyx” missiles.
Initially, both types of missiles were developed as anti-ship weapons. After modernization, Russia began using them against ground targets as well.
Earlier, Serhiy Flash Beskrestnov, a special advisor to the President of Ukraine, reported that Russia has accumulated a stockpile of several hundred ballistic missiles and is capable of regularly replenishing this arsenal through its own production.
