Ukraine reduces production of Russian missiles and collapses oil exports

Ukrainian strikes on Russian targets have resulted in a loss of nearly 40% of monthly missile production and about 45% of oil exports, the Center for Strategic and Policy Studies reported.

Strikes on chemical plants

Ukrainian drones have recently been increasingly targeting Russia’s critical infrastructure, inflicting significant damage on its production capabilities. As the head of the CPD noted, over the past month, Ukrainian forces have successfully attacked at least five Russian chemical plants, some of them multiple times. These facilities are key links in ammunition production, and shutting them down effectively paralyzes further production.

According to Kovalenko, microelectronics manufacturers and facilities at the Votkinsk plant, where Iskander and Oreshnik missiles are produced, have also come under fire.

Attacks on Russian oil facilities

Ukrainian drones have been attacking the Leningrad region for seven consecutive days. On March 29, the SBU reported a successful strike on the infrastructure of the Ust-Luga port’s oil terminal. Satellite imagery from Planet Labs dated March 30 confirms large-scale fires in the ports of Primorsk and Ust-Luga following drone attacks.

On the night of March 31, explosions and intense gunfire were again heard over the city of Ust-Luga, as well as in the Kirishsky, Luzhsky, and Tosnensky districts.
