Teenagers in the Obukhiv district threw a bag of water into a stroller carrying an infant

In the Vasylkiv community, located in the Obukhiv district, a reckless prank by teenagers could have ended in tragedy. Two 14-year-old boys decided to copy a popular social media trend by throwing bags of water from the seventh floor of a high-rise building. One of these bags struck a stroller carrying a three-month-old infant. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing the Kyiv police.

The incident occurred on July 28. The child’s father contacted the police, after which law enforcement officers and medical personnel arrived at the scene. Doctors examined the child and, together with the mother, took her to the hospital for a more thorough examination.

Police determined that the teenagers were visiting an acquaintance. After watching videos online, they filled plastic bags with water and threw them out of a seventh-floor window. One of the bags struck the baby stroller.

In connection with this, law enforcement officers filed administrative reports against the mothers of the two 14-year-old boys for failure to properly fulfill their parental duties (Part 3 of Article 184 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The case materials were forwarded to the court for further consideration.

As a reminder, in Kalush, a two-year-old boy got his head stuck between the slats of a sandbox at a playground. To free the child, rescuers carefully cut through part of the wooden structure using a special tool, after which they were able to free the boy.
