Over the past 24 hours, on March 31, Ukrainian defense forces engaged the invaders in 171 incidents along the front line.
According to information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was published on Facebook on April 1 at 8:00 a.m., Russian forces carried out 77 airstrikes, dropping 226 guided bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,636 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,804 shelling attacks, including 106 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The attacks were concentrated in the areas of Oleksandrivka (Donetsk region), Gavrylivka, and Pokrovsk (Dnipropetrovsk region), as well as in the Zaporizhzhia region, including the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Yegorivka, and others.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck six areas where Russian troops and equipment are concentrated.
Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions
In these sectors, 94 shelling incidents were recorded, including three from MLRS, as well as one combat engagement.
South Slobozhansky direction
The enemy attempted three times to break through the defenses in the areas of Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, and toward Okhrimivka.
Kupiansk and Lyman directions
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of Nova Kruhlyakivka and Novoosynove. In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out six attacks toward Drobysheve, Lyman, Serednye, and Nadiya.
Sloviansk direction
Ukrainian defense forces repelled six attempts by Russian troops to advance.
