Oleksandr Rudynskyi Celebrates His 30th Birthday: The Road to Success and His Most Memorable Roles

Today, July 23, Oleksandr Rudynskyi, Honored Artist of Ukraine and star of the Ivan Franko Theater, is celebrating his 30th birthday. He is one of the most famous figures in contemporary Ukrainian film and theater. In addition to appearing in popular Ukrainian films, Rudynskyi also stars in international projects, including for Netflix. “Glavkom” has prepared an overview of his achievements and most notable roles to mark this special occasion.

Oleksandr Rudynskyi: A Brief Look at His Life and Career

Oleksandr Rudynskyi was born on July 23, 1996, in Mykolaiv. He became interested in the theater while still in school. He received his professional training at the Ivan Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theater, Film, and Television, where he studied acting for dramatic theater and film under the guidance of Dmytro Bogomazov. Since 2018, he has been an actor at the Ivan Franko Theater.

Roles in International Projects

Oleksandr played a cameo role in the Netflix series *The Decameron*, based on Giovanni Boccaccio’s famous 14th-century collection of novellas. In this series, he portrayed a one-eyed bandit.

Another notable role for Rudynsky in international cinema was that of a soldier in the spy series *The Agency*, produced by the famous George Clooney.

Lead Role in a Film About the War in Ukraine

Oleksandr Rudynskyi played the lead role in the film *Rock, Paper, Scissors*, which tells the story of the war in Ukraine. The film was directed by François Biome. For this role, Rudynskyi received a BAFTA Award for Best Actor.
