A fire broke out in an apartment on the sixth floor of a residential building in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. A woman fell from the balcony while trying to escape the fire and was hospitalized. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Kyiv.
According to the State Emergency Service, the fire was reported on June 30 at 7:24 p.m.

Rescue workers arrived at the scene at 7:35 p.m. and began extinguishing the fire from the street while simultaneously unlocking the door to the apartment.
Obstacles to rescue operations
“Parked cars and tall vegetation in the courtyard made it difficult to set up the fire ladder. At that moment, a woman who was inside the burning apartment climbed over the balcony railing and fell. She was taken to an ambulance for hospitalization,” the report stated.
Medical personnel provided first aid to the victim, after which she was hospitalized.
Rescue workers extinguished the fire at 8:15 p.m. Law enforcement officials are investigating the cause of the fire and the circumstances of the incident.
As a reminder, on June 24, an explosion occurred on Mykola Mikhnovsky Boulevard in the Pecherskyi district due to a malfunction in an alternative light source, which caused a fire.
