As a result of Russian shelling on the night of August 5, four Fozzy Group distribution centers were damaged. Due to these complications, there may be shortages of certain goods in supermarkets.
Fozzy Group told “Suspilne” that the losses are significant in both material and human terms. “The hardest loss for us has been the deaths of our colleagues. At the same time, we feel the support of the government, our suppliers, and our customers,” the statement reads.
Due to the destruction of logistics centers, deliveries to “Silpo,” “Fora,” and Thrash supermarkets have been temporarily disrupted. This may lead to shortages of certain items on the shelves. At the same time, Fozzy Group is urgently reorganizing its logistics and plans to restore its product assortment by Independence Day, August 24.
As a reminder, shelling on August 5 caused fires at two Silpo distribution centers, killing six employees.
In addition, facilities belonging to Epicenter, ROZETKA, and Nova Poshta were damaged during the shelling.
