In the Mykolaiv region, near the village of Kobleve, a dangerous object exploded in the Black Sea. As a result of the tragedy, a 45-year-old man was killed, and two women were injured. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.
The man was in the water at the time of the explosion and sustained fatal injuries. Two women, aged 47 and 63, were on the shore. The younger woman received medical attention at the scene, while the older woman was hospitalized. Her condition is considered moderate.
The dangerous section of the coastline has been cordoned off, and warning signs about the mine hazard have been posted. Swimming in the sea is prohibited in the Mykolaiv region, as it may endanger life and health. Local residents and visitors are urged to comply with the restrictions and avoid dangerous areas.
As a reminder, in July 2026, the Ukrainian military detected and neutralized a drifting mine near Odesa. In June, the Romanian military detonated a Russian sea mine that was drifting toward the Black Sea coast.
