The Ukrainian national team will face Georgia in the Nations League

On Monday, September 28, the Ukrainian national team will play an away match against Georgia as part of the second round of the Nations League in Group 2 of Division B.

Andrea Maldera’s team kicked off the season with a 1-0 victory over Hungary, with Danilo Sikin scoring the decisive goal. This marked the official debut of the new Italian coaching staff for the Ukrainian national team.

The teams last met on November 16, 2024, in Batumi, where the match ended in a 1–1 draw. Aliyar Agayev from Azerbaijan has been appointed as the head referee for the match.
