Students going abroad: Lisovyi explains whether the situation is critical

According to Lisovyi, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has not observed any negative consequences of this decision.

Increase in the number of registrations for the NMT

"We are not currently observing any negative impact; in fact, we are seeing an increase in the number of people registering for the National Multidisciplinary Test (NMT)," he emphasized.

Active interest in Ukrainian education

The minister noted that approximately 30,000 NMT registrations came from Ukrainians living abroad who plan to enroll in Ukrainian higher education institutions.

"Therefore, there is no trend of a critical exodus of students that would exceed the standard situation," explained Lisovyi.

The Ministry of Education and Science believes that current figures indicate continued interest in Ukrainian higher education, despite the war and the opportunity to study abroad.
