Between the morning of May 31 and the morning of June 1, Russian forces carried out more than 90 attacks on 41 settlements in 21 local communities in the Sumy region.

Casualties and Damage
In the Berezivska community, two women aged 47 and 57 were wounded as a result of shelling by a Russian drone. In the Bilopil community, men aged 22, 32, 40, and 49 were injured in a drone strike. Additionally, a 66-year-old woman was wounded in the Duboviaziv community. In the Sumy community, women aged 24 and 36 were injured.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 47-year-old man was injured after a drone attack on a car. Additionally, a 54-year-old man sought medical attention after being wounded on May 30.
Shelling and destruction
The highest number of shelling incidents was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts. The enemy used mortars, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs in the attacks.
In the Trostyanets community, private residential buildings, a civilian infrastructure facility, and a car were damaged. In the Putivl community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged. In the Sumy community, civilian infrastructure facilities, educational institutions, apartment buildings, and non-residential premises were affected. In the Berezivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility, private residential buildings, and a farm building were damaged.
