According to the movement, the sabotage operation took place at a railway station. During the operation, the partisans destroyed a heavy-duty EDK-300/5 railway recovery crane, a model that is no longer in production.
"The EDK-300/5 is designed for complex emergency repair work on the railroad and is capable of lifting loads weighing up to 300 tons… Replacing the destroyed crane will require significant time and resources," the publication notes.

"ATESH" emphasized that Russian Railways has only a few such cranes left at its disposal, so every loss makes it harder for the enemy to restore damaged infrastructure and deal with the aftermath of accidents at key junctions.
"While Putin’s army searches for a replacement, the railway junction and logistics in the region are operating with limited repair capacity. Even deep in the rear, critical equipment is not protected from destruction," the movement concluded.
