A sabotage operation took place at the railway station in Voronezh: agents of the "ATESH" partisan movement destroyed an important EDK-300/5 series railway crane.
"ATESH" reported this information on its Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.
This rare piece of equipment, which has been discontinued, is designed for complex emergency repair work. The EDK-300/5 crane has a lifting capacity of up to 300 tons and is critical for infrastructure restoration.
The loss of each unit of such equipment significantly complicates work on the railway, which complicates logistics in the region. Replacing the crane will require significant resources and time.
Meanwhile, Russia has already begun seeking solutions to repair the damaged equipment, which could delay operations at the railway hub.
