On the night of March 25, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 147 strike drones from six different directions. Most of these drones were successfully shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to military sources, starting at 7:00 p.m. on March 24, the Russians deployed Shahed, "Gerbera," "Italmas," and other drones from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation, and Gvardeyskoye in occupied Crimea. More than 80 of the drones were Shaheds.
To repel the attack, aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, were deployed.
As of 08:30, according to preliminary data, air defense forces destroyed or neutralized 121 enemy drones of the Shahed, "Gerbera," "Italmas," and other types in the north, south, and east of the country. It is known that 24 drones were hit in 18 locations, and that downed drones fell in three locations.
"The attack is ongoing; enemy drones are in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.
Shelling of Ukraine
As a reminder, on the night of March 25, Russian troops carried out another attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure. An energy facility in the Chernihiv region was targeted, leaving approximately 150,000 consumers without electricity.
Additionally, as a result of an evening drone attack in the south of the Odesa region, a residential building was damaged; one person was injured, and another is likely trapped under the rubble.
