"Emergency power outages have occurred in Sumy and the Sumy district. We are working to restore power!" the statement reads.
Utility officials have not disclosed the cause of the outages or reported how many customers are currently without power.
It is worth noting that Ukrenergo has repeatedly emphasized the difficult situation with electricity supply specifically in the Sumy region. This is due to regular attacks on the region’s energy infrastructure and the consequences of previous shelling.
