Due to the recent shelling of Kyiv by Russian forces, tram routes No. 1 and No. 3 are temporarily operating with extended intervals. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing “Kyivpastrans.”
To ensure passenger service, temporary bus routes No. 1T and No. 3T have been introduced. “Kyivpastrans” urges passengers to take these changes into account when planning their trips.
The Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) also reported that, as a result of the shelling, 42 Pesa-manufactured tram cars were damaged at one of the depots.
“A task force comprising specialists from all of the capital’s depots was quickly formed. The rolling stock is expected to be restored within a week,” the statement said.
As a reminder, on the night of July 8, Russia launched a missile attack on Kyiv using ballistic missiles. The explosions caused large-scale fires in the city. Unfortunately, one woman was killed, and others were injured.
