Russians are spreading a fake video about the seizure of the train station in Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi

The Russian group “Zapad” released a video allegedly showing soldiers from the 153rd Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division seizing the train station in the village of Kup’yansk-Vuzlovyi in the Kharkiv region.

Volunteer Serhiy Sternenko noted that this video was likely generated using artificial intelligence. He pointed out that in the footage, the station building appears undamaged, although in reality it has sustained significant damage.

Sternenko also pointed out anomalies in the movement of Russian soldiers, who “blur” in the frame, indicating that the video was artificially created. This view was confirmed by Russian military correspondents, who also noted the unreliability of the footage.

According to DeepState analysts, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi is not even marked on the so-called “gray zone” map, indicating that Russian troops have no control over this region. Currently, the occupiers have intensified their pressure on the neighboring town of Kurylivka.

Russian troops are retreating from the Kupiansk sector, using civilians—including children and the elderly—as human shields. The occupiers have forced people out of Kupiansk through the village of Holubivka toward the “Shebelinka–Ostrogozhsk” gas pipeline, making them walk along the pipeline for more than 10 kilometers.
