In Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, bomb disposal experts discovered and removed the warhead of a missile that had fallen near a high-rise building following a nighttime attack. This information was reported by “Glavkom,” citing the Kyiv police.
Residents of one of the buildings alerted law enforcement to the dangerous object. The police quickly arrived at the scene, evacuated the residents, secured the area, and cordoned it off until the bomb disposal experts arrived.
Specialists carefully removed the rocket fragment from the ground and sent it to a specialized testing site for disposal.
Police Appeal to Citizens
Law enforcement officials urge citizens not to approach suspicious or potentially explosive objects and to immediately report them by calling 102 or 101.
Attack on Kyiv
As a reminder, on the night of June 28, Kyiv was attacked by Russian ballistic missiles. Explosions were heard in the city, and one person was injured. According to the Air Force, the attack involved the use of anti-ship missiles and drones.
