Verdict in the Case Involving the Sale of NSDC Sanctions for $250,000

The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) approved a plea agreement with one of the defendants in a case involving incitement to provide an unlawful benefit in exchange for National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) sanctions. The citizen pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

This information was confirmed by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) in a Facebook post. SAPO noted that the group was organized by a member of parliament, who acted as a guarantor of the plea agreement.

The defendant was sentenced to five years in prison but was released on probation with conditions set by the court. In addition, he is required to transfer 700,000 UAH to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the United 24 fund.

At this point, the pretrial investigation has been completed, and the defense is reviewing the case materials. As a reminder, in late 2025, the SBU exposed a group in Kyiv that was offering to impose sanctions against a competitor for $250,000.
