Ukrainians in Latvia will help Ukraine at the festival

The Confederation of Ukrainian Societies in Latvia “VICHE,” together with the Ukrainian Cultural Center “Dzherelo,” will participate in the international RITE Fest festival, which will take place from July 10 to 13 in the Latvian city of Jelgava. Funds raised during the event will be directed toward humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, citing the organization’s Facebook page, the culture of the “parna” (a traditional Ukrainian heated room), which symbolizes warmth, care, and unity, has always brought people together. These values remain relevant today as we work together to prepare another humanitarian convoy to Ukraine.

At the Ukrainian booth at the festival, visitors will be able to try traditional borscht with pampushky, purchase souvenirs and handmade crafts, and participate in a charity drive to support the Ukrainian people.

All funds raised will go toward financing the humanitarian convoy, which includes the purchase and delivery of fuel, vehicles, food, medicine, and other essential goods to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian diaspora invites everyone to visit the booth in Jelgava to experience the festive atmosphere, learn more about Ukrainian culture, and make a contribution to support Ukraine.
