Ukraine is actively entering international arms markets, and countries in the Global South are showing great interest in our drones and technologies for defending against enemy drones.
This is discussed in an RBC-Ukraine article titled “From Drones to Tanks: Who in the World Wants to Buy Ukrainian Weapons and What Is Hindering Exports.”
Experts note that Ukrainian unmanned systems are generating the most interest. Ihor Fedirko, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Arms Council, emphasizes that this applies to strike and reconnaissance UAVs, interceptor drones, maritime drones, as well as fiber-optic solutions. Equally important are electronic warfare, communications, detection, and guidance systems.
“Sound systems, radars, and situational awareness systems are also important for detecting drones. It is precisely in these areas that Ukraine has real combat experience and a rapid cycle of updating solutions to address new threats,” notes Fedirko.
According to Anastasia Mishkina, executive director of the “Technological Forces of Ukraine” association, international partners are interested not only in countering drones but also in ground-based robotic systems that can be used for various purposes, including the evacuation of the wounded.
