The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that 641 enemy air attack weapons failed to reach their targets in March. These include missiles and attack drones, particularly "Shaheds," which Russian occupiers regularly launch at Ukrainian cities.
Despite the increase in the number of attacks, the effectiveness of air defense is steadily rising. While this figure stood at 80.2% in December, 82.5% in January, and 85.6% in February, it reached 89.9% in March. Overall, over the past four months, the effectiveness of air target destruction has increased by 9.7%.
The Ministry of Defense notes that these results were made possible by the introduction of new technologies and the development of proven air defense systems. "We are approaching the goal set in Ukraine’s War Plan—to intercept at least 95% of missiles and drones," the ministry emphasized.
