A landmark event took place at the Ukrainian Saturday School in Warsaw—the ceremonial closing of the school year, which coincided with the school’s 10th anniversary. The school operates successfully thanks to the support of the “Ukrainian House” Foundation.

The ceremony was opened by the school’s director, Oleksandr Pustovyi, who gathered teachers, students, graduates, their families, as well as international partners and guests of honor.
During the celebration, the school’s administration, together with Larisa Sydorenko, a representative of the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland; Serhiy Sirenko, a representative of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Warsaw; and Myroslava Kerik, the foundation’s chairwoman, summarized the achievements of this anniversary year.
The administration and the parents’ committee expressed their gratitude to the teachers for their dedicated work in educating the younger generation of Ukrainians abroad.
Special words of thanks were extended to the Warsaw city authorities, the mayor of Legionowo, and the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland for their long-standing support and partnership.
The event organizers thanked the children and parents for their trust, noting that new achievements and a shared Polish-Ukrainian future await the school.
