Currently, 13 deaths have been reported in the capital. The total number of injured has risen to 86, including two children. Of those injured, 70 were hospitalized.
Extent of the Damage
The enemy struck at least 20 residential buildings. As a result of the shelling, about a hundred other structures in the city were damaged.
Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service continue to work at 15 locations, clearing debris. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko noted that people may still be trapped under the rubble.
Operation in the Darnytskyi District
Separately, in the Darnytskyi district, where a high-rise building was partially destroyed, a search-and-rescue operation is underway in one of the damaged buildings.
