Russian electronic warfare system “Palantine” worth $20 million destroyed in Zaporizhzhia

In the Zaporizhzhia region, the Lasar’s Group Special Operations Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine carried out a successful special operation, resulting in the destruction of a rare Russian “Palantin” electronic warfare system. This operation was made possible by meticulous planning and cooperation with neighboring units.

Military officials reported that the “Lasars” operated within the area of responsibility of the 17th Army Corps. During preparations for the operation, a concentration of air defense assets was detected behind the front lines, and a powerful electronic warfare system was identified, which became the primary target.

Joint efforts of military units

Lasar’s Group, together with the 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade “Black Forest,” thoroughly analyzed the area where Russian assets were concentrated, and fighters from the 15th SARB conducted final reconnaissance.

“Lasar’s” carried out a successful attack on “Palantin” using their own drones. The first strikes damaged the target, and the subsequent ones completely destroyed it. As a result, the Russians lost $20 million worth of equipment, and the skies became safer for our drones.

Other successes on the front

As reported by Ukrinform, in January, fighters from the 429th Separate "Achilles" Unmanned Systems Brigade also successfully destroyed the Russian "Borisoglebsk-2" electronic warfare system in the Vovchansk direction.
