Russian drone strikes enterprise in Chernihiv region: man killed

Overnight, a Russian strike drone attacked a civilian facility in the Koryukivka district of Chernihiv Oblast. The attack caused significant damage and resulted in one fatality. According to information from Glavkom, citing the State Emergency Service, the strike hit rear infrastructure not associated with military facilities.

The kamikaze drone exploded on the industrial site of the enterprise, causing a fire in the indoor parking lot. Due to the presence of fuel and flammable materials, the fire quickly spread throughout the parking lot. By the time the first State Emergency Service units arrived, the flames had engulfed large vehicles, destroying seven civilian trucks.

The fire was successfully contained and completely extinguished. Unfortunately, while clearing the debris, rescuers discovered the body of a 58-year-old man who was on the company’s premises at the time of the attack. His injuries were fatal.

As a reminder, drones also struck an oil refinery in Saratov overnight, where a major fire broke out. In the Rostov region, an oil depot caught fire after debris from a UAV fell on it.
