Over the past 24 hours, 273 combat engagements were recorded. Ukrainian troops are heroically repelling the invaders’ advances, inflicting significant losses on them.
Our armed forces are resolutely resisting the enemy’s attempts to penetrate deeper into our territory, effectively inflicting fire damage. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
News from the front
The enemy carried out 95 airstrikes, dropping 289 guided bombs. In addition, 9,875 kamikaze drones were used, and 3,470 attacks were carried out on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 44 from multiple launch rocket systems.
Current situation
Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 14 areas of enemy troop concentration, two command posts, and three enemy artillery systems.
- Three firefights took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors; the aggressor carried out 6 airstrikes using 18 guided bombs, and carried out 89 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including nine using MLRS.
- In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 12 times near Staritsa, Lyman, Odradny, and in the direction of Izbytsky, Okhrimivka, and Kolodyazny.
- In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled six enemy attempts to advance in the area of Novoplatonivka and toward Kupiansk, Kivsharivka, and Novoosynove.
- In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted 26 times to breach our defenses in the areas of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Zarichne, Dibrova, Ozerny, and toward Shyikivka and Lyman.
- In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched 13 assaults near Zakitne, Kaleniky, and Riznykivka.
