On the night of April 4–5, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, deploying 93 strike drones from various directions. The Ukrainian Armed Forces, particularly the air defense forces, were able to neutralize the vast majority of the enemy drones.

According to information provided by RBC-Ukraine, citing the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force, during this period the Russians attacked using Shahed, "Gerbera," "Italmas," and other types of drones. In particular, about 60 of them were Shaheds. The attack was launched from the following directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Gvardeyskoye in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Ukrainian defense forces, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, and mobile units, actively countered the attack. According to preliminary data, 76 drones were neutralized by 8:00 a.m. However, 17 of them still hit their targets at 10 locations, and debris fell at three additional sites.

"The attack is ongoing; enemy drones remain in the airspace. Follow safety guidelines!" the Air Force warns.
