Following a large-scale nighttime shelling of Kyiv on July 2, many trolleybuses and trams in the capital are experiencing delays. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing data from “Kyivpastrans.”
The service disruptions are caused by damage to the overhead contact system, power outages in certain areas, and cleanup efforts following the shelling. The delays affect the following routes:
- Trolleybuses: Nos. 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 19, 22k, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 33, 35, 38, 39, 41, 42, 43, 50.
- Trams: Nos. 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19.
For the convenience of passengers, alternative bus routes have been organized:
- Buses replacing tram No. 14 run along the following route: Kontraktova Square – Vidradnyi Avenue.
- Bus service replacing Trolleybus No. 41: Tuluz Street – “Svyatoshyn” Metro Station.
Changes to bus routes due to street closures
Due to the closure of Taras Shevchenko Boulevard, the routes of buses No. 114 and No. 118 have been changed. They now run via: Velyka Vasylkivska Street – Pavlo Skoropadskyi Street – Volodymyrska Street – Taras Shevchenko Boulevard.
Passengers are urged to take these changes into account when planning their trips around the city.
As a reminder, on the night of July 2, the Russian army carried out one of its most massive attacks on Kyiv, striking residential buildings and civilian infrastructure with drones and various types of missiles. Twenty-eight locations were affected; 11 people were confirmed dead and more than 30 were wounded.
