Yesterday’s attack began at 6:00 p.m. on June 28. Russia deployed Shahed, Gerber, and Italmas strike drones, as well as “Parody” decoy drones. The drones were launched from various directions:
- Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk—from Russian territory;
- the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Oblast;
- Chauda and Gvardeyskoye—from occupied Crimea.
Air Defense Operations
Air forces, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the defense forces actively repelled the attack. As of 08:00, 82 enemy drones had been shot down or neutralized in the north, south, and east of the country.
Consequences of the Attacks
In total, 25 strikes by attack drones were recorded at 11 locations, and debris from downed drones fell at 4 locations.
“The attack is ongoing; enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Please follow safety guidelines,” the Air Force warned.
