Today, Ukraine has found itself at the center of the hottest air mass on the European continent. Due to the influence of an anticyclone and subtropical currents, temperatures in many regions have reached levels more typical of the summer months. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing Natalia Didenko.
According to Natalia Didenko, Ukraine is currently the hottest country in Europe. In most regions, temperatures range from +22°C to +27°C, while in the north and center, they reach up to +29°C in some places.
It is slightly cooler only in the southern regions and along the coast, where the water lowers the temperature to +17…+21°C. In Kyiv, it is sunny and dry, with temperatures reaching +24…+29°C.
This week, Ukraine will see typical May weather: warm days will alternate with brief showers and thunderstorms, which is characteristic of this month. Temperatures will gradually rise, though cooler days are possible in the north and west due to atmospheric fronts.
