Eight settlements attacked in Donetsk region: one dead and one wounded

Over the past 24 hours, attacks on eight settlements were recorded in the Donetsk region. As a result of these attacks, a 41-year-old man was killed and six others were wounded.

This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Police in a Facebook post, according to Ukrinform. “One person was killed and six were wounded as a result of enemy attacks in the Donetsk region. On March 27, police recorded 1,434 shelling incidents targeting the front line and residential areas of the region,” the statement said.

The following settlements came under fire: Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, as well as the villages of Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, Raigorodok, Sviatohorivka, and Cherkaske. Fifteen civilian facilities were damaged, 11 of which were residential buildings.

The enemy dropped a “KAB-250” bomb on Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, killing a 41-year-old man and wounding four other civilians, including a mother and son aged 55 and 35, a 55-year-old man, and a 45-year-old woman. Two private homes were damaged.

In Kostyantynivka, an artillery strike wounded a 61-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman. A private home was damaged.

Kramatorsk was attacked by four drones, which damaged one apartment building and two private homes, as well as a civilian vehicle.

In Mykolaivka, the enemy damaged two apartment buildings; in Raigorodok, two private homes. In Cherkasy, a “Gerbera” UAV damaged an infrastructure facility.

In Druzhkivka, an enemy FPV drone damaged a private home, and in Sviatohorivka, a civilian vehicle.

The police and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding war crimes.
