In the Kharkiv region, a Russian attack drone struck a commuter train traveling between Slatine and Kharkiv. One passenger was killed and several people were injured in the attack. This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
Details of the attack
According to the investigation, the incident occurred on March 24 at approximately 5:20 a.m. Preliminary information indicates that the Russian military used an FPV drone, which struck a train car at the Slatine station.

Consequences of the enemy strike
A 61-year-old passenger was killed at the scene. The train engineer and his assistant suffered severe stress. All emergency services are working at the scene.

As a reminder, on the night of March 24, Russian troops also attacked the Poltava community, damaging residential buildings and a hotel. Additionally, in Zaporizhzhia, a drone struck an apartment building, killing one person and injuring five others. In the Odesa region, a drone struck a public transportation stop, injuring an 18-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man.
