An earthquake was recorded in the Myrhorod District of Poltava Oblast. This was reported by the Main Center for Special Control, according to Ukrinform.
The earthquake occurred on July 7 at 5:26 a.m. in the Lokhvytsia territorial community and had a magnitude of 2.6 on the Richter scale. The tremors were recorded at a depth of 7 km.
The center noted that this earthquake is classified as imperceptible.
Previous earthquakes in the region
As a reminder, on March 28, an earthquake also occurred in the Machukhiv territorial community of Poltava Oblast; its magnitude was 3.2 on the same scale.
