On the evening of October 3, an incident occurred in Haivoron, Kirovohrad Oblast, involving a Russian “Shahed”-type kamikaze jet drone that crashed onto the roadway. One man was killed in the crash, according to a report by Andriy Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, on his Telegram channel.
In addition, one woman was injured and hospitalized. A fire broke out in the dry grass at the site where the drone crashed, but rescue workers quickly brought it under control.
The head of the Regional Military Administration urged residents of the region to follow safety rules, not to ignore air raid alerts, and to take shelter during dangerous situations. This is particularly important given the ongoing drone attacks.
The Ukrainian Air Force also reported the movement of jet-powered drones toward Kyiv and the Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, and Rivne regions, indicating a threat to these areas.
As a reminder, Russian troops recently struck a local business near Kropyvnytskyi, and in the Oleksandriia district, a drone also hit a business, causing significant damage.
