A fire at an oil tank in the Odesa region was extinguished following an attack

On July 14, a tank containing sunflower oil caught fire in the Odesa region as a result of a Russian attack. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Oleg Kipper, head of the regional military administration, reported this in a Facebook post, according to Ukrinform. He noted: “The fire that broke out at an industrial facility hit by an enemy strike has been extinguished.”

The fire was caused by a direct hit; however, despite difficult conditions—including high temperatures and repeated air raid alerts—rescue workers quickly contained the threat of the fire spreading.

Work is currently underway at the scene to address the aftermath of the attack.
