Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has noticed significant changes in Vladimir Putin’s behavior over the past year. This was reported by Serhiy Kyslytsia, First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, in an interview.
The U.S. is aware of Russia’s setbacks in the war with Ukraine
Kyslytsia noted that Trump has a clear understanding of the situation in the Russia-Ukraine war. “I’ll share one quote with you. Trump said that Putin today and Putin a year ago are different people,” Kyslytsia recalled.
He also emphasized that the White House is aware of all of the Kremlin’s setbacks, particularly the fact that Russia has still not captured the Donbas.
U.S. Observations
“I can assume that the Americans see whose side Russia was on in Iran. They see how Putin lost the election in Yerevan, as well as the economic situation in the Russian Federation,” Kyslytsia added.
Furthermore, the United States cannot ignore “Ukraine’s striking successes in carrying out diplomatic and medium-range strikes.”
“This paints a picture where, at the very least, Putin is not winning the war—and is more likely to lose it,” Kyslytsya emphasized.

As Kyslytsia explained, this refers to certain Russian “schemes.” “I no longer know who first brought these schemes to whom and showed them,” he said.
