Ukrainian troops have successfully shot down an expensive and rare enemy drone. A unique Russian drone worth $400,000 was destroyed on one of the front lines. The unit reported this and released a video of the incident, according to Glavkom.
Details about the downed drone
The soldiers note that this is a scarce “Skat 450M” model, which Russia uses for deep reconnaissance. This upgraded version of the reconnaissance drone features improved optics and the ability to operate under active electronic warfare (EW) conditions. The destruction of such a drone is not only a financial blow to Russia but also a significant loss due to its limited production and the scarcity of foreign components.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian forces have managed to destroy only 10 to 20 of these enemy drones.
