On the night of July 25–26, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully attacked a Chornomornaftogaz facility near Vnukove, located in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. A ground-based relay station used to control attack drones was also destroyed. This was reported by “Glavkom,” citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Attack on Facilities in Crimea
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that since Russia’s occupation of Crimea, the seized “Chornomornaftogaz” facilities have been used for the extraction and transportation of gas and petroleum products, as well as to meet the energy needs of the occupying forces.
Destruction of a relay station and other infrastructure
On the night of July 26, a relay station that controls “Geran”/“Gerbera”-type strike UAVs in the Chornomorsk area was struck. Relay stations are necessary to increase the range and stability of drone control, which the enemy uses to launch attacks on Ukrainian territory.
In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed a road bridge near Vyselky in the Donetsk region, which the enemy used for military logistics, as well as a drone depot in Chervonopopivka and an area where enemy forces were concentrated in Purdivka in the Luhansk region.
Previous Successes
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also confirmed the successful strike on the Tyumen Oil Refinery in Russia, a key facility in Western Siberia’s oil refining industry.
