In the heart of Dnipro, near a crowded establishment, a small group of men opened fire after a fight broke out inside the building. According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Police, the conflict spilled out onto the street, where the perpetrators fired non-lethal pistols at employees of a security agency. The incident occurred on August 14 at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Magdeburg Law Street in the Shevchenkivskyi District.
As a result of the incident, security guards and a 24-year-old man were injured. Thanks to the prompt actions of the criminal police, the identities of all those involved in the incident were established. Subsequently, law enforcement officers detained two men, aged 29 and 31, and seized the non-lethal firearms from them.
Investigators from the Dnipro Central District Prosecutor’s Office informed the detainees that they are suspected of hooliganism, which falls under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A pretrial investigation is currently underway.
As a reminder, in another incident in Lubny, Poltava Oblast, a man opened fire on police officers during a routine check, resulting in the injury of one of the officers.
