On the night of Tuesday, September 22, five Russian ballistic missiles struck an oil and gas complex in the Poltava region, which had already been out of operation for some time due to previous shelling.
According to Naftogaz Group, Russian forces have repeatedly struck this facility with drones and missiles since the start of the full-scale war. The oil and gas complex’s equipment has long since been taken out of service.
Following the latest attack, the facility sustained critical damage, and according to the company, restoring its operations is impossible.
In addition, on the same day, the Russian army carried out a massive drone attack on the Zhytomyr region, targeting transportation infrastructure.
Also, in the suburbs of Odesa, the occupiers struck a warehouse, causing a major fire and a visible column of thick smoke rising above the city.
