Russian drones attack civilians in Kherson region: casualties and injuries

An attack by Russian drones took place this morning in the Kherson region, killing two people and injuring three others. The tragedy occurred in a suburb of Kherson, where a drone struck a moped carrying two people.

According to the Kherson City Military Administration on its Telegram channel, the attack occurred around 7:00 a.m. A Russian drone struck the moped, killing two people instantly. Among the victims were a 68-year-old man and a woman whose identity is still being determined.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, noted that the attack took place near Zelenivka. Authorities expressed their condolences to the families of the deceased.

Additionally, another 72-year-old man was injured during a drone attack on a car around 8:20 a.m. in the Dniprovskyi district. He was taken to the hospital with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the head and chest. The victim’s condition is moderate.

Also, according to the Regional Military Administration, around 7:20 a.m. in the village of Bilozerka, Russian occupiers attacked two women with drones. The local residents, aged 68 and 59, sustained blast injuries; the older woman suffered shrapnel wounds to her arm and leg. They are currently under medical supervision.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, nearly 5,500 drones were launched in the Kherson region over the past week, which is 900 more than in previous periods.
