On May 5, Russian forces struck the outskirts of the city of Sumy, damaging warehouses and vehicles.
According to information from the Sumy City Military Administration, published on Telegram, the attack caused a fire. The fire was contained, and fortunately, no one was injured.
The shelling damaged several warehouse buildings and about 10 vehicles parked nearby. Additionally, approximately 10 windows and balcony frames were shattered in a nearby residential high-rise. The full extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
As a reminder, on May 4, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Shostka, resulting in three casualties.
