Over the past 24 hours, on July 4, there were 295 combat engagements between Ukrainian defense forces and Russian occupiers on the front lines.
According to a post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Facebook page, as of 8:00 a.m. on July 5, the enemy fired two missiles and carried out 58 airstrikes, dropping 252 guided bombs. In addition, the use of 8,799 kamikaze drones was recorded, as well as 2,775 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 46 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Ukrainian defense forces struck seven command posts and six areas where Russian troops were concentrated.
Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk Directions
Three clashes with Russian forces occurred in these sectors. The aggressor carried out one airstrike and fired 62 rounds at Ukrainian military positions.
Southern Slobozhansky Direction
Russian forces launched 15 attacks in the areas of Starytsia, Synelnykove, Artilne, and others.
Kupiansk and Lyman sectors
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy carried out two attacks, and in the Lyman sector—nine, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses.
Sloviansk Sector
In this sector, the Russian army carried out 25 assaults in various areas.
