On the morning of July 12, Russian troops attacked civilian facilities in Kherson twice. A minibus and a public transportation stop were struck by drones, resulting in civilian casualties. This was reported by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the city’s military administration, according to Glavkom.
At 8:00 a.m., a drone struck a minibus in the city center. One man who was nearby was injured and hospitalized. Preliminary reports suggest the driver may have suffered a concussion.
Around 9:50 a.m., a drone attacked a public transportation stop in the Central District of Kherson. As a result, a 66-year-old man and three women aged 58, 59, and 71 were injured. All of them sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to their torsos and limbs. The victims were taken to the hospital.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked the Korabel district overnight, killing one resident and wounding two others. Also overnight, Ukrainian forces struck the Syzran Oil Refinery and 14 enemy vessels. In total, 13 missiles and 115 drones were launched during the nighttime attacks, of which air defense systems destroyed or neutralized 102 targets.
