Russian strikes on Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia: there are casualties

On October 24, Russian occupation forces launched attacks on critical infrastructure in Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, using guided aerial bombs, “Shahed”-type drones, and “Banderole” missile drones. This was reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

According to Mykhailo Semikin, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, two people were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of the attacks, and several passenger cars were damaged. He noted that traffic across the DniproHES dam was blocked due to the shelling.

Semikin urged residents to bypass the dam by using the Arkovy and Vantovy bridges, as well as Khortytsia Island and the Preobrazhensky Bridge. This is necessary to ensure safety during the shelling.

In addition, on October 20, Russian troops attacked warehouses in the suburbs of Dnipro, injuring five people; the bodies of two victims were found under the rubble. These events indicate an escalation of the situation in the region.

Recently, the Russian army advanced in the area of Maly Shcherbakiv and Shcherbakiv in the Orikhiv direction in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. At the same time, the Center for Countering Disinformation has refuted reports that Russian troops are located five kilometers from Zaporizhzhia.
