The "Strix" unmanned systems unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine successfully destroyed a Russian "Skat 450M" reconnaissance drone. The destruction took place in the South Slobozhanskyi direction, as reported by “Glavkom” citing the border guards’ press service.
A rare achievement
The border guards presented a video recording of the drone’s destruction, emphasizing its uniqueness and value to the occupying forces. The military noted that this is already the second such trophy destroyed by the “Strix” unit in this sector.
Since the start of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have destroyed fewer than 20 such drones. The destruction of two rare systems by a single unit demonstrates the effectiveness of our air defense.
